Ganaio develops advanced electromagnetic damping systems designed to replace the complexity of traditional hydraulic dampers with a fully-passive magnetic architecture engineered for improved ride quality, temperature stability, reduced hysteresis, and long-term durability — without pumps, valves, fluids, or external power requirements. Built for both OEM and aftermarket applications, Ganaio’s technology is designed to support the evolving demands of electric, off-road, defense, and performance vehicles while creating a foundation for future semi-active suspension control. The Ganaio Founder's Story
Ganaio was founded by John Gewarges and Shashank Reddy Goli, who met while working at Tesla and shared a passion for innovation and sustainable mobility.
John’s experience in product engineering and sales gave him a deep understanding of EV systems and how to successfully bring them to market. As an entrepreneur, he’s led multiple startups, refining his skills in operations, growth strategy, and customer acquisition.
Shashank began his career at Tesla as well, rising to Manufacturing Engineering Manager, where he specialized in lean operations, quality engineering, and program management, skills crucial for scaling advanced technologies.
Together, they set out to tackle one of the EV industry’s biggest challenges: improving energy efficiency. Their solution became Ganaio’s flagship innovation, the Fully Passive Magnetic Damper. A technology that converts suspension movement into usable electricity, while providing premium ride quality affordably.
Building on this vision, Ganaio’s first consumer product, Shield, enhances EV aerodynamics to help drivers travel farther and cleaner.
