At Ganaio, our story starts with a shared passion for innovation and sustainability. When founders John Gewarges and Shashank Reddy Goli first crossed paths at Tesla, it was clear they had more than just engineering backgrounds in common. They shared a vision for reshaping the future of mobility.

John worked at Tesla in both product engineering and sales, giving him a unique understanding of the technical development of electric vehicle systems and the strategies needed to bring them successfully to market. As an entrepreneur, he has led multiple startups, gaining hands-on experience in operations, growth strategy, and customer acquisition.

Shashank also launched his career at Tesla, advancing to Manufacturing Engineering Manager. There, he developed expertise in lean operations, quality engineering, and program management, overseeing large-scale product development and providing the operational leadership essential for scaling innovation.

Together, John and Shashank saw an opportunity to go beyond batteries and address one of the EV industry’s biggest challenges: improving energy efficiency and range through outside-the-box engineering.

This vision led to Ganaio’s flagship innovation, the Regenerative Damper, a breakthrough technology that captures energy lost through suspension movement and converts it into usable electricity. By extending EV range and reducing vehicle energy costs, the Regenerative Damper reflects Ganaio’s mission to deliver practical, high-impact solutions for sustainable mobility.

Ganaio’s first direct-to-consumer product, Shield, continues this approach by improving EV aerodynamics, helping drivers travel farther with greater confidence while supporting a cleaner planet.
